about us
C-UP PtX Pty Ltd is an Australian clean-technology start-up advancing electrochemical pathways to convert captured CO₂ into sustainable fuels and chemicals. The company builds on a first-of-its-kind liquid-fed, integrated CO₂ capture–electrolysis system reported in Nature Energy, enabling direct conversion of industrial CO₂ into sustainable fuels using renewable electricity. C-UP is developing scalable electrochemical systems designed to transform surplus renewable power and captured carbon into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and other low-carbon products.
The company has received international recognition, including Second Prize at the Melbourne Nexus deep-tech competition, First Prize at the Chunhui Entrepreneurship Competition, and an invitation to the second round of a leading global climate-tech fellowship program. C-UP has also participated in closed-door industry workshops with major international aviation stakeholders to explore the future of sustainable aviation fuel. Currently preparing for a pre-Series A investment round, C-UP is advancing off-take discussions with downstream fuel and energy sector partners, while targeting deployment of its first electrochemical facility capable of abating approximately 60 tonnes of CO₂ per year and producing SAF at up to 40% lower cost than conventional fossil-derived pathways.
